Dr Muath Al Dergham was born in Amman in 1984. After completing his secondary education, he moved to the Arab Republic of Egypt to attend Ain Shams University, where he graduated in 2009 in Medicine and General Surgery. Later, he was one of the first to be accepted into the postgraduate specialization program in vascular medicine and surgery in Germany, which had been his dream since he was a student at the Faculty of Medicine.

Dr Muath Al Dergham was born in Amman in 1984. After completing his secondary education, he moved to the Arab Republic of Egypt to attend Ain Shams University, where he graduated in 2009 in Medicine and General Surgery. My story
How I Become a Professional
The journey began with a place at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. He worked as a vascular surgeon at the motherhouse teaching hospital for four years.
After completing the specialization program at this prestigious university, he continued and deepened his knowledge in this field by joining the Hegau-Bodensee Hospital, affiliated to the Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg.

He completed training in advanced vascular surgery and advanced minimally invasive surgery.
In 2017, Dr Muath Al Dergham received the title of Consultant in Vascular Surgery and Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery from the Medical University of Kassel.
Klinikum Kassel (University Hospital of the Medical Faculty of Kassel / Medical Faculty of the University of Southampton)
Between 2018-2022, Dr Muath Al Dergham held the position of Head of Vascular Surgery and Advanced Minimally Invasive Vascular Surgery at Klinikum Halberstadt (Academic Teaching Hospital of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg) Halberstadt/ Germany.
In 2022-2023, he held the position of Chief Physician and Head of the Department of Vascular Surgery and Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Berlin Brandenburg Hospital, until he decided to return to his homeland and start working in his private clinic to serve his countrymen.
